I am like the leaf on the tree, waiting for the first wind blast to tear me off from the cycle of life. A foggy morning , a foggy brain, holding on until the connection is ripped from the branch that keeps me grounded to reality. I drift down in a swirling current, landing on the cold damp ground. My response was miss interpreted, so I end this year feeling unjustly accused of actions contrary to what the truth happened to be.

How many times has this happened to you? It remains one of the biggest drawback of conversing through the computer. Texting is running a close second and sexting is a whole other subject.

My new year resolution is to forget 2011 and for 2012 accept only words. Read my lips, or kiss my lips. Talk to my ears or whisper more.

If you like that idea, speak up or forever hold your silence . I am not into the chase but also not opposed to being chased.

THE NUMBERS

I am all alone as the house sleeps . The moans and groans of the creaking floors along with an occasional screeching window pane as the wind pushes branches against the window, makes my skin crawl.
I can't eat these days and have lost 25 pounds in three weeks. I look great but now I am trying to find food interesting. Nothing . The Numbers just don't add up. I don't the why of anything anymore.

FOR THE TV SHOW

What a blast! Professional makeup, hair style, and my own show with Bob for an hour of live TV, and no commercials, Just the two of us with all my art. It will air twice again Wednesday on Channel 76. New orleans only (cox cable), and then Sunday after that.

I really thought I would freeze when I had to speak to the camera. It was a breeze compared to the last TV show I did in Barbados. Bob made everything so easy. Thank you again.

I am getting a bit nervous about Sunday, as I do not know what to expect. As I stated before, my dreams for the past month, have been leading up to this deadline. Since I have analyzed many dreams for other people, it is always harder to understand your own.

Last Sunday , I awoke startled , to the fact that I had seven more days to live. Now I am a seasoned dream interpreter, and knowing that dying is not an actual event I shall encounter, but rather a symbolic change to come. New directions and new beginnings mean an end to the old.

I am old enough and wise enough to know this is just another step I am destined to take. What ever or where ever my feet will tread, my spirit goes. It is just meant to be.

The Frog Racing and Jumping contests made their debut appearance at the third annual Frog Festival in Rayne. Since then, they have proven to be one of the most popular festival events, offering festival-goers a change to “get in on the action” and handle real, live frogs.
Over 50 entries from throughout the United States participated in both events at that first annual contest in 1975.
The frog facing and jumping contests came into existence because of correspondence between the Rayne Acadian Tribune and officials in other states where frog jumps and races were held annually and were huge successes. The Rayne Jaycees joined the Tribune in sponsoring the event, by providing frogs to rent and helping to measure the jumps.
To participate, a person has the option of entering the ‘frog racing’ or ‘frog jumping’ contest. A contestant may bring a frog or rent one for a small fee from the Rayne Jaycees.
Racing Contest Rules
Frogs must measure at least four inches from nose to tail and must be bullfrogs, toads or spring frogs. Little green tree frogs are not allowed due to the fact that the sponsors will not accept the responsibility for damages incurred by the little critters if they are walked upon.
All frogs must be named to avoid frog-calling confusion.
Contestants may not feed their frogs Tabasco or any other Louisiana hot sauce to make them jump farther. Also, contestants may not feed their opponents’ frogs any Louisiana rice or soybeans to slow them down.
Frogs may not be touched once the race is underway. A reluctant entrant may be convinced to move by blowing on it, shouting at it, jumping up and down, or any other means with the exception of touching. Touching the frog means instant disqualification.
Frogs will be raced in heats, with each frog being placed within a circle. The frogs will be allowed a specified amount of time to reach the finish line, which is the drawn line surrounding the circle. The first frog to reach the finish line in the allotted time will be declared the winner of that hear and will advance to the next phase of semi-finals and then the finals.
Jumping Contest Rules
Racing contests rules 1-4 also apply to the Jumping Contest.
Each frog will be permitted three jumps. The distance from the starting point to the point where the frog lands on the third jump will be measured to determine the winner.
On stage, when the call of Ils Sonte Parti is sounded, the frogs will be off and hopping, jumping and leaping – hopefully toward the finish line, but you never know!

When autumn leaves start to fall,

A beautiful song and the weatherman has promised clear cooler skies by Thursday.

Little itchy raised bumps covered all my exposed skin.
